Congratulations to Marie Cowan who has recently been appointed Project Manager for the Tellus Border Project. Marie is a principal scientific officer with the British Geological Survey (BGS). She joined BGS in 2004 and is based at its Belfast office, the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland (GSNI). Marie earned a PhD and a 1^st Class Honours degree both in Geology from The Queen’s University of Belfast. Marie was the assistant project manager for the original Tellus Survey in Northern Ireland which took place in 2004.
